What is Angle Globe Valve ?
The inlet and outlet channels of the angle globe valve are not in the same direction but at a 90° right angle, and a certain pressure drop is generated when the medium passes through. Its biggest advantage is that it can be installed at the corner of the management system, which saves 90° elbows and is easy to operate. The opening and closing part of the Angle globe valve is a plug shaped valve disc, the sealing surface is plane or cone, and the valve disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the fluid. The movement of the valve stem has a lifting rod type and a lifting rotating rod type.

The characteristics of angle globe valve

Angle globe valves allow fluid flow to change 90° direction, and fluid always enters from the bottom of the seat. The runner is more open and less zigzag than the straight-through, so there is less pressure loss.

When the angle globe valve is opened, the opening height of the valve disc is 25% to 30% of the nominal diameter, and the flow rate has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the full open position of the globe valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.

When the handwheel rotates, the seat pushes the plunger in the middle of the hole frame repeatedly to complete the opening and closing of the brake. Select the transition fit between the plunger and the sealing ring in the door, according to the rotating cover flange bolt to ensure the tightness of the door and prevent internal and external leakage.

Angle globe valves are not easily eroded by solid particles. For better adjustment characteristics, the disc can be designed in claw shape or skirt type.
