What is Bonnet Bolted Globe Valve ?
The valve body is bolted to the upper valve cover. The disc moves vertically along the center line of the valve seat, and relies on the spinning of the valve stem thread to make the disc sealing surface of the globe valve closely fit with the sealing surface of the valve seat, thus cutting off the medium flow. When the disc of the globe valve is opened, the valve seat and the sealing surface of the valve disc are out of contact, and the mechanical wear of the sealing surface is small, so the globe valve can maintain good sealing performance. The disc switch stroke of the globe valve is small, and the sealing surface can withstand multiple opening and closing, so the globe valve is suitable for occasions where frequent switching is required.

The sealing parts of the bonnet bolted globe valve are the valve disc and the valve seat. In order to make the globe valve close tightly, the matching surface of the valve disc and the valve seat should be ground or gasketed, and the sealing surface can also be inlaid with corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials such as bronze and stainless steel. The valve disc and the valve stem of the globe valve are connected flexibly to facilitate the close fit of the valve disc and the valve stem. The lifting and lowering of the valve disc of the globe valve is generally controlled by the valve stem. The upper part of the valve stem of the globe valve is a hand wheel, and the middle part is a thread and packing sealing section. The function of the packing is to prevent the internal medium of the valve body from leaking along the valve stem. When the valve is opened and closed, the valve core will rotate or move along the axis of the valve body to achieve the purpose of controlling the flow of liquid or gas. The upper end of the valve stem is constrained by the packing and the upper sealing seat, and the lower end of the valve stem is connected to the valve disc by a clearance fit.
