What is Axial Flow Check Valve ?
The flow medium of the axial check valve flows along the axis and the flow channel is highly symmetrical along the axis. It is mainly composed of a single structure of valve body, valve sleeve, valve disc, valve stem, valve seat, bushing, spring and other fasteners and seals. Structurally, like the lift check valve, the valve core moves along the axis of the valve body to realize the opening and closing action of the valve. However, the streamlined design of the inner cavity of the valve body and the guide cover makes the fluid present a laminar flow state on the flow surface, avoiding the occurrence of turbulence.

The characteristics of axial flow check valve

The inlet medium pressure pushes the valve disc to open, and the surface of the valve disc on the inlet side is arc-shaped. After opening, it is combined with the guide cover to form a spindle, which reduces the flow resistance.

The inner cavity of the valve body is a Venturi structure with a guide cover inside. The entire flow surface is streamlined, the flow channel has a smooth transition to reduce vortex, and effectively reduce flow resistance.

Axial flow check valves can use metal hard seals and cladding hard alloys, or soft and hard composite seal structures, which make the sealing surface more durable and extend the service life.

The valve disc of the axial flow check valve has a small mass, which reduces the friction on the guide surface and the valve disc can quickly return to the seat. The small mass and low inertia valve disc contacts the valve seat surface after a short stroke and with a very small impact force, which can avoid damage to the valve seat sealing surface and prevent valve seat leakage.
